Our dairy does and breeding stock are primarily comprised of Registered and Grade Alpines, Registered American Oberhaslis (a heritage breed), and a percentage boer buck. This fall we bred 13 does and are looking forward to expanding our herd as well as marketing a few at the county fair in August, as part of a 4-H project.
We milk our does twice daily from freshening until the end of December. This provides our growing family with plenty of milk, cheese, and yogurt, as well as supplying our goat milk soap business with the essential main ingredient for our value added products!
